UPPER SCHOOL
6th Grade | Growing One Grade Per Year
Middle School is a pivotal and exciting season for your child. During these formative years, students experience significant growth as they develop academically, socially, emotionally, physically, and spiritually. In a nurturing, Christ-centered environment, middle school students are encouraged to explore their gifts, build strong character, and grow in confidence as they prepare for the next stage of their education.
As a parent, you want your child to be known, supported, and challenged—while also gaining independence and responsibility. At CCA, teachers know students by name, understand their individual strengths and struggles, and are committed to going the extra mile. Through intentional guidance and meaningful relationships, students are equipped to thrive in middle school and beyond.

Meet the Principal
It is with great joy that we announce Corey Hence as our new Middle School Principal at Cloverhill Christian Academy.
As we prepare to launch 6th grade next year, hiring a middle school principal now is both intentional and important. We recognize that middle school students and their families have unique academic and developmental needs, and we are committed to building a strong, mission-driven program from the very beginning. We are grateful Corey will join our leadership team to help lay this foundation.
Corey brings a deep love for Christ, a heart for student growth, and a passion for partnering with families. His faith shapes his belief that education should develop both character and competence. Known for being relational and approachable, he is committed to helping students grow in wisdom, confidence, and faith.
Professionally, Corey spent 13 years at Capital One leading teams and developing people. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and a Master’s in Education with a focus in Sports Leadership from VCU. He looks forward to building a structured and supportive middle school experience at CCA.
CCA’s middle school will be located at the Bailey Bridge campus, with plans to transition to our future Moseley campus.
