Parent Teacher Fellowship (PTF) (5-6 parents)
Advocate for CCA in the community + communicate our values
Facilitate connection + engage with prospective families
Strategize ways to expand the school’s reach
Yearbook Team (2-3 parents)
Collect, select, and organize photos throughout the school year
Facilitate orders + plan for distribution
Create + edit yearbook pages
Close attention to detail+ artistic eye suggested
Room Parent Coordinator
Lead initial room parent meeting in August
Communicate monthly with all room parents by email
Support room parents as needed
Previous room parent experience suggested
Room Parent (2 per class)
Attend initial kick-off meeting in August
Communicate with parents by email regularly as needed
Plan, organize + execute class parties
Collect classroom donations as needed by teacher
Organize teacher gifts
Teacher Appreciation Team (4-5 parents)
Choose a theme + coordinate teacher appreciation for Teacher Work Week (Aug 14-17) + Teacher Appreciation Week (May 6-10)
Seek out donations
Create sign-ups + organize the week
Hospitality Team (2-3 parents)
Coordinate volunteer of the month
Participate in welcoming committee at events
Friendly attitude + welcoming demeanor suggested
School Store Coordinator
Select + manage inventory of items for students to purchase
Conduct sales with students before school on schedule of your choosing
Fun, friendly attitude with a desire to work with children
Spirit Wear Team (2-3 parents)
Promote + sell spirit wear at various events
Manage inventory of spirit wear items
Facilitate distribution of items upon arrival
Friendly attitude + organizational skills suggested
Event Team (4-5 parents)
Coordinate set-up and take-down of events
Decorate prepare for events
Communicate with CCA staff who oversee events
Friendly attitude, close attention to detail
Volunteer Coordinator
Create sign-ups for volunteer opportunities for families (i.e., picture day, fall festival, K4 graduation, Veteran’s Day, Christmas program, field day, Spring Carnival)
Organize volunteers for various events
Seek corporate sponsors
